To set specific notes on pads in the Tempest drum machine, you'll need to access the instrument's step-sequencer or pattern-editor. Here are the general steps to follow:
Load the Tempest software: Make sure the Tempest software is loaded on your computer or device.
Access the step-sequencer or pattern-editor: Look for a button labeled "Step-Sequencer" or "Pattern-Editor" in the Tempest software. This is where you'll be able to set specific notes on the pads.
Choose a pad: Select the pad that you want to assign a note to by clicking on it in the step-sequencer or pattern-editor.
Assign a note: Use the software's interface to assign a specific MIDI note to the selected pad. This may involve selecting a note from a list or manually entering a note value.
Repeat for additional pads: Repeat the process for any additional pads that you want to assign notes to.
Save your changes: Once you're finished assigning notes to the pads, be sure to save your changes so that they'll be remembered the next time you use the Tempest software.
By following these steps, you should be able to set specific notes on the pads in Tempest and start creating your own drum patterns.
